A Ride About Nothing.

Discovery is at the heart of gravel riding and on my last ride before selling my bike; I spotted a woman adorned in lingerie and a diaphanous robe walking across the Cooper's Landing campground. Turns out she will be married there later in the day. After a quick chat with Jordan (the bride) we continued south for ten miles to the Hartsburg Pumpkin Festival. Traffic is impossible to deal with if you travel to the festival by car so Katy Trail access is the smart way to visit. This is an unremarkable small-town festival that exemplifies Middle-America life. Take a look at the people and exhibitors in Hartsburg, Mo. Oh-yeah, Iris giggles and laughs (at things that can't be unseen) a lot...
