12 (Fast) Rules For Life

Peterson, Jordan B. 12 Rules For Life. Random House Canada, 2018. 409 pp.

“People who live by the same code are rendered mutually predictable to one another. They act in keeping with each other’s expectations and desires. They can cooperate. They can even compete peacefully, because everyone knows what to expect from everyone else”.

Peterson presents 12 rules that if adhered to should make for a better life and society. From not letting your kids do things that will make you dislike them, to petting a cat, he makes a compelling argument for them all.

I believe this really is “An Antidote to Chaos”.

This video (linked below) quickly touches on each rule in about 16 minutes.
